A rumble would only pit Scorpion against some midcarder, though. |

NOPE.

You keep putting Ganon in every contender's match. Why? I mean, yeah he's got history on his side, but recently? He's been okay at best. I'd much prefer to see Air Man fight against someone. Or the proposed Bowser/Segata/Guile three way blowoff match to determine who is the best rock, paper or scissors champion of them all. |

X: Doubt

Ganon hasn't had a lot of Singles time as of late to be fair, in fact this is about all he's had in that regard all season. And multimans were never his strong suit. Give him some singles matches. |

Air Man vs Snake would be my pick, going purely by a 'what have you done for me lately' perspective. |

Air Man LITERALLY just blew a chance for a contendership, wait and test him against top carders. |

Indeed. Ganon's actually been doing quite well in singles. He's beaten DK and Dracula in singles matches (and Ezio, but Ezio's not really on the same level), and came out on top in the Nerd's final match. Though Sonic is probably midcard at best, Nerd was hardly a jobber. As of right now (this will likely change once the rankings for tonight are updated), Ganon's fourth on the power rankings behind Scorps, Airman, and Duke. He's not just coasting on the Thousand Years of Darkness. Though perhaps Ganon could use another singles match to keep him in practice, since he hasn't had the same success in co-op. Maybe an Airman vs. Ganon match? Maybe even make it the contender match for Endgame. Edited by Wyvernil, Dec 16 2014, 09:32 PM.

That's what I said about Guile, and he ended up in MitB! I just think Air Man/Scorpion is the biggest match you can build to at this point, so it'd be a shame if we missed out on that. |

I don't mind who it is as long as it's not a six-man ladder match just because people want the belt off Scorpion. It works for the mid-card because that's the whole point, you want a regular rotation of champions to boost careers and make the step up to the top-card easier for some of the smaller guys. Luckily we now have a proper mid-carder as champion. Airman was always a big fish in a small pond so it was going to happen eventually anyway. That said right now you're looking at top-carders that haven't been fed to Scorpion, so Bowser vs Ganondorf evil hoedown? Edited by stienerontheforklift, Dec 17 2014, 03:50 AM.

Ladies Love it.

Well, I was going to push for Segata to hit the Main Belt scene but after the loss to Bowser, we need to see if his Momentum keeps up. Snake should definietly be in the next Contender's match, if he's not out forming Gabehound. Also it's a bit too soon but. Push Dante. Push him hard. I want the Prattitude Era to happen, and happen in all three championships A triple threat with Air Man, Dante and Snake would be the brightest timeline. Edited by FoxyStalin, Dec 17 2014, 04:12 AM.

Snake has proven himself, but Airman should have a fight against another topcarder before jumping into the title scene. Bowser could go back into the title scene now after his win over Segata, so that's a maybe for him. Really, most of the upper card haven't done enough to get a shot or have lost their last match at this point. We'll need to see what happens next week before we have enough info to decide who's might is getting tested next, because beyond Bowser and Snake, the only one who won their match convincingly enough to get a push is... ...is...well...Dante. Oh my days, do I want Dante as VGCW Champion so bad. |

Hmm. I'd go with Air Man vs. Snake vs. Bowser for number one contendership. |

I'd say at the moment, the three biggest considerations for the next contenders match after Scorpion vs. Red is done with are Ganondorf, Air Man, and Johnny Cage. Cage actually looks like he's solid enough to compete at main event level, with some big wins against Little Mac and Bowser. Air Man just came off a big streak in Casuals, and may be ready to be tested to see if he's top-tier material. And I've stated my case for Ganon many times already. Maybe pit Air Man against someone like DK, Bowser, Dracula, or Mac to test his prowess against main event talent. Air Man vs. Ganondorf would also be a good match. |
