BLUSTER THE BENEVOLENT, HAILED AS A GOD
With Dante's performance tonight, I can see the fucker rising up in the upper cards.

Probably should give him a high mid carder or low high carder after Scorps vs Red II: Electric Boogaloo. Maybe him against Johnny Cage?

I'd say at the moment, the three biggest considerations for the next contenders match after Scorpion vs. Red is done with are Ganondorf, Air Man, and Johnny Cage.

Cage actually looks like he's solid enough to compete at main event level, with some big wins against Little Mac and Bowser. Air Man just came off a big streak in Casuals, and may be ready to be tested to see if he's top-tier material. And I've stated my case for Ganon many times already.

Maybe pit Air Man against someone like DK, Bowser, Dracula, or Mac to test his prowess against main event talent. Air Man vs. Ganondorf would also be a good match.
I say to test them both, pit Air Man and Johnny Cage against each other to see who deserves a shot at being Contender. Both have the makings, but neither have proven themselves outside their respective areas of focus yet.

After that, pit them against Ganondorf and...hmm... :dk: ?

Don't you remember? Air Man buried Cage last time.

Airman vs Ganondorf would be an interesting battle for the topcard.

Any predictions for the Casual Triple Threat Contender? The names I'm pulling out of my ass are Gary Oak Protoman and Segata Sanshiro. Considering anyone included in the recent ladder match are probably off the list it leaves not that many obvious choices for Dan's first defence of the title.

Gary shouldn't be on there until he loses to someone.
Gary is winning matches.
This is an enigma. We have no idea where he stands in the power ranks now, and he needs a loss to someone as a sort of. Placemaker.

For all we know he could be the next Pheonix right now.

Let's not jump to conclusions, he only beat Waluigi and Bison.

Look, I'd agree with you if he'd beaten just Waluigi, but he beat Bison. If you beat the glorious dictator who beat a robot, and make said glorious dictator look like shit, you're doing something right.

A guy who's set up in a plot relevant event, currently a heel and has started winning a few matches, he'll have to go on to fight a superpowered evil version of a lovable charecter.

Pheonix Season 6, or Gary Oak right now?

NOPE.
Remember, this winning streak isn't the only time Gary's wrestled in 2K14.

I dunno what's been changed since then, but don't forget he's already lost to Zangief in this game. Twice.

Would I be laughing my ass all the way to Bison' Moon Base if Gary was as a topcard level beast all of a sudden...

...or would I be really salty that the only thing stopping weak wrestlers from being unstoppable is a small moveset change...

...did Gary's moveset actually get changed? Did ANYTHING change? Because if he literally has not been altered at all since his last match before managing Illidan, then I dunno, I guess the universe just adores Gary Oak?

Spoiler: click to toggle

I was just thinking about this actually.

Octodad's usually a good pick for a casual contender, but honestly he's already had two chances in a row, so it'd be very special treatment to give him another. I could see it happening though, if for nothing else than want of a wild card.

Wario could do with a run at the casual belt. He certainly could use the extra face time.

Kefka is actually at the right spot to be running for Casual Champ right now, so he could throw his hat in on that.

Travis would make some sense - he wants to beat every wrestler, he's gotta start somewhere.

M. Bison could sink his teeth into casual contendership. He hasn't YET proven himself to be a solid upper-card wrestler, and holding the belt might help prove his worth.

Wario has to WIN something before he can get into contendership, I'm sorry. He just can't justify a potential shot on nothing.
