How bout Dan v Ezio? It would be kinda weird and unprecedented, but Dan DOES have the fact that he wasn't pinned or submitted to lose his title in his back pocket. Plus I don't think many people would complain to see a rematch if that does come to pass, that was just some goofy fun tonight. |

I'd say "He just lost it, let him chill for a bit" But by god if he wasn't the greatest casual champ to ever have the belt. |

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!

I'd love to see Eggman in a casual contender. He was beastly in the tag match and just beat the newcomer Toad in a squash. And I really want the massive hilarity of him somehow getting the Triple Crown before anyone else. |

Order! Order in the court!

Gonna have to agree, I'd like to see Eggman pushed for Casuals. Give him one more singles match against a midcarder just test his might. |

I'm not too keen on the idea of someone getting contendership because of a win against someone else I looked at a bunch of possible contenders and no one really has a strong case for them, so I think if we really need a casual contenders match just pick 6 from this pool and have a classic contenders match (Whatever happened to those anyway?) Spoiler for neatness Spoiler: click to toggle While 6-man's run the risk of being more of a gamble for the winner and kind of ruining chances of any of the other 5 have of claiming the next contendership shot I like the idea that no one else in the midcard really stands out so its kind of a mad scramble for the next contender. Unless some people have become more in the tag division than singles out of the pool above I'd want to see Flint, Segata, Break Man, Adam Jensen, Ezio and either Barret or Eggman Edited by goon, Jan 14 2015, 03:30 AM.

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time

Ezio v. Eggman v. Break Man seems like the best option to me. Just because I want Eggman/Knux for canon AND the opportunity to snipe Triple Crown potentially an hour or so before Red can. |

I'd say that Ezio has at least earned a contender's match for his win over Air Man, but it's hard to pick who he'd fight. Break Man has been mentioned as a possibility, but he was in the main title scene before the Robot Masters plot messed with his perception. His win against the Heavy might be just enough to put him outside of the Casual circuit, though his rage over Ezio defeating Air Man could make for a neat feud. It might be best to see how Break Man does in future matches to determine if he'd be a good Casual contender. Flint has also been mentioned, but I think he needs one more Singles win to see if he's ready. If Goemon and Vegeta aren't considered top card material and get, say, one win each that doesn't shoot them up there, then they might work as well. As for Eggman, while he did win recently, we have no idea where Toad stands at the moment, and the Doc's had a Singles wins dry spell for nearly two years. He definitely needs to fight more before he goes anywhere near a contender's match, and I don't think him "sniping" a triple crown is enough to warrant a shot either. That just makes it seem like a triple crown is nothing but a race and like the first to get it is the only one to get glory. It's less of Eggman being deserving and more of if he can flip Red the bird. |

Birds of Prey vs Groose's Gang would be fresh for Co-Op contenders match. Both teans are going strong, and Falcon and Bullies have history with Red. |

As much as I love the gang of bullies, they've fought PK Chu Twice already. Though it they stomped it in the first match, and the second match was close as hell, lets rock it fresh for a while. Though, The list of Co-Op teams PK Chu hasn't beaten recently is.....The Mystical Ninjas, The DK Crew, TJ&E, Wario Ware, and The Practice. Ebisu going to be busy next show and potientially busy at endgame, One of the Wario Bros are going to be busy at endgame, TJ&E definietly isn't getting a shot and Diddy doesn't exist anymore. I feel like Practice Vs Birds would be good. I mean the practice got snubbed for their shot last time for the team they had literally just beat and a team that was on a 4 match losing streak. And perhaps if we have time, Bullies vs Dragons and the winners there fight Practice/Birds for the contention. Edited by FoxyStalin, Jan 15 2015, 10:44 AM.

I think even if Goemon lost, nearly beating Phoenix and DK instead of getting squashed means he's top card, just not TOP Top Card. He was in the Top 10 of the rankings at one point, he's probably above the belt.

The teams you've listed kind of show there needs to be rematches, because with the exception of the DK Crew (which seems to be on hiatus) none of those teams should be anywhere near a PK Chu match. Even the Ninjas whom are doing well in singles have a pretty poor tag record. Don't get me wrong, what happened last season having the same teams go for the belt did suck, but having a whole season of matches like PK Chu's last match against Barret and Flint would be even worse. Kinda a Catch 22 with the tag division. To get new teams more exposure and stop another DK Krew v Saiyans endless rematches result from happening, hold a tournament. But then one team wins the tournament, becomes "overexposed", and beats every new team necessitating rematches. I dunno what an easy fix is for the tag division, but it's just been really bad in general this season. A solitary black mark on what has been an awesome show as of late. The Tag Title match is like my 8th most looked forward to match on the eventual End Game card at the moment, which is basically exactly where the Saiyans were a few months ago. I guess throw the Practice in, but it would feel weird to do so right after they lost to the Bullies. Maybe the Birds of Prey, but going from being a lowcard team to immediate contenders with just one win? Also a stretch. |

TJ&E. I know they've had 6 losses in a row and all but counterpoint: Shut up. Give them the title opportunity! |

Can't argue with that logic. Push them to the moons of Funkotron! Does Funkotron even have moons? |

: Has been doing very poorly lately (
: Was in the last 2 contender matches but is still an incredibly solid midcarder:
: In singles matches his recent record has been
: Since his moveset change he's won all his matches except for Bowser:
:
: The old faithful Casual Contender, Barret hasn't had a singles match since his loss to Air Man for the title last End Game. While he's looked like the lesser half of his tag team he could fill out the bracket to see if he's still a competitor
:
While he did just lose the title, tables or not, Dan has looked pretty good for his past few matches
