I'd be about Groose vs Bison to see who gets the Topcard slingshot, and Snake vs DK to see who's getting a title shot.
Yeah this sounds pretty good.

Flints surely worked his way into a casual cotenders match, right?

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time
DK put up a strong showing against Nappa who is currently second on the Power Rankings. Nappa is really fucking good, he beat Duke, something only Scorpion and Snake were able to do One on One. DK was kicking ass inside the ring, but Nappa clearly had the advantage outside. Knowing how wonky ER matches can be I don't think it's fair to kill DK's main event push.

Barret definitely deserves a shot now. He took a break from singles but if you look at his more recent matches, his record is impressive. Wins against Vegeta, Ness/M.Bison, and now Snake. He definitely deserves to be in the Main event and a win over Snake proves that.

Groose v. Bison should probably happen. Groose has been doing well lately (outside of casual contender matches) and wins over Vegeta, Dan, and Octodad are pretty good. Bison has recent wins over Phoenix (!) Dan, and Sabin. I think a match between the two would be a good "who should be in the top card" match.

As of right now, I see the top contenders for the title being Haggar, Dante, Barret, DK, Groose/Bison, and if Johnny Cage can win at End Game, he should be considered too. An interesting crowd to say the least.

EDIT: I completely forgot to mention that Guile has been also very impressive lately, although I think he should take a little break from the main-event. The winner of Drac-Bowser should also be a VGCW contender.

I think a Chamber of Elimination should happen here. Dante v. Haggar v. Barret v. The winner of Groose/Bison v. DK v. The winner of Drac/Bowser. That sounds really fun.

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!
There's a lot of people knocking on that main event door. Sounds like an 8 man contenders tournament would be an idea. DK, Barret, Dante, Haggar, Snake, Cage, Drac/Bowser and Mac.
Depending on what Ganon does at EG maybe him as well, dude is still a singles beast after all.

There's also a backlog of casual contenders as well. Illidan, Bison, Gary, Groose, Kefka, Flint, Goemon and whoever wins the New Gen Battle (except Dante/Cage.)

Good season for the single belts and there isn't a lot of "too good for Casual Belt but too weak for Main Belt" wrestlers.

Barret is top tier except in title matches for some reason. I bet he could beat Phoenix and Guile in a #1 contenders and then job horribly to Scorpion/Red/Nappa in a title match.

Okay, time for the post-Endgame title predictions.

VGCW Title

Scorpion's on top of the world at the moment. With so many victories under his belt, who's left to climb into the ring with this terror?

I'm thinking that it's about time for another Elimination Chamber. Here's what I think would be a good line-up.

Barret vs Donkey Kong vs Bowser vs Ebisumaru vs M. Bison vs Scorpion.

With his recent victory over Snake, Barret's definitely got the case for a title shot, as mentioned on Endgame itself.

DK's loss against Nappa was a huge blow, but he's still got momentum on his side, and could end up in a title match.

Bowser put on a stellar performance against Dracula tonight, so I'd say he's due for a title shot now.

While Ebisumaru may not have won it all in the GM Tournament, he still proved to be impressive, and a title shot might make for a good consolation prize. Besides, if Bowser's getting in, Ebisu's definitely got a case since he beat Bowser in the tournament. Maybe this is the King of Awesome's chance for revenge?

Finally, Bison would make for a good "wild card" addition to an Elimination Chamber match, like Protoman in the last one. He's beaten Phoenix Wright recently, which is a huge achievement which could be enough for consideration. This slot could also be filled by Guile or Haggar, as well. Dante might be a possibility, but he went down early in the Newcomer's match, so I'd say he's not quite ready for the main event.

If this has to be a regular match, I'd go with a Barret/DK/Bowser/Ebisu four-way match. What do you think?

Ooftah, with the exception of Barret and DK, I don't agree with any of those, my love for Bowser and M. Bison nonwithstanding. I'm also really not a fan of 6-man contendership matches and think they should be used very, very sparingly.

Of all the characters with momentum who deserve a shot at contendership, I think two stand out: Snake and Barret.

Snake lost his good buddy last season, giving him some real motivation to go for the gold, and he has put on some slobberknockers as of late. Barret obviously creamed him.

DK wouldn't be awful either, especially since him and Scorps are bros. Maybe throw those two(or three) in a triple threat.

Now, who deserves a contenderhsip straight up? Illidan! Let me quote myself from the Illidan thread.

I honestly think Scorpion's next opponent should be Illidan. Illidan's put on clinic after clinic after cilnic, it'd be poetic as his match with Scorpion is what propelled Scorpion to the top of the card, and honestly, if the heel GM can't give use his newfound powers to grant his loyal underling an undisputed title shot, what good is the GM chair?

It must suck to be Nappa. He should by all means be the next in line for a title shot due to his rankings and current winning streak but all he can do is sit on his briefcase and do nothing.

It must be worse for DK, whose momentum was completely squashed after Nappa buried him and a half.

Still salty about that. God dammit.

A rose, by any other name...
I get that there's a point where you basically just have to flip the table and throw Scorpion into something unwinnable, but I wonder if we're there yet.

If he manages to retain in his next match and fend off Nappa, maybe then it will be time.

But why would you throw away the rub from beating the greatest champion of all time 1-on-1 unless you absolutely have to?

Illidan could be a potential possibility, but there is a caveat. This Endgame, we started to see the first cracks in the foundation of the Gary/Illidan partnership. Besides, guess who wasn't there to back up his buddy when the Nightmare came a-calling?

Has the Betrayer finally lived up to his name? Will Gary be sore about his partner dropping the ball? We'll have to wait for next season to see the fallout, so we can't be sure if Illidan will get the royal treatment.

As for Gary going for the title himself, isn't it traditional for the GM to stay out of the title picture? Of course, Gabe's held the title as GM, but that was mostly thanks to a freak Rumble win. So who knows if our new GM will buck that tradition and book himself in the contender's match.

Guile did nothing wrong
Scorpion will lose eventually, I could see Bison getting the job done if he got the title match.

Guile going after the casual title again could also be cool

Edit: Bowser is also obviously at the top of the list now

If Gary can keep up his winning streak, then I am all for him gaining a title shot.
