Cage vs. Dante sounds great. Bison has definitely been on a roll lately, but IIRC he had a lot of Casual contenders last season. He should be in line, just not #2 or 3.

You know, behind Illidan.

Casual isn't in the same position that Main was though, with Casual we can afford to take two or three shows and see who builds themselves up for now.
I cannot understand this thought process at all
Instead of protecting the top prize in the company we should protect the belt that essentially gives people something to do in the midcard - a bracket of wrestlers that don't get much momentum because they're in the midcard. If someone 'builds themselves up' in casual unless its over non-reputed wrestlers we should be moving them up. Casual contenders are really 'who's the best out of this pool right now' or 'who impressed recently' and then it's booked. Some combination of Flint/Kefka/Arino/Knuckles is sweet

Hey guys. Phoenix has lost three in a row, he should definitely move down to casuals.

Air Man Drac and Guile too.
Drac would drop the title to Waluigi so
do it

Also what is the talk for another contender's match the same night we just got our #1 Contender? I really cannot understand everyone's eagerness to book as many title shots as possible

Bison VS Groose doesn't really have the same luster to it now that Bison beat an UpperMidcarder and has essentially 'arrived' in the topcard - if Groose wins he's elevated but Bison would need another match to get momentum back (especially if it's a 1v1 contenders) and I don't see him being booked that often
+ now we have a contender and a couple weeks to sit on it we can run some potentials through the gauntlet and see if we can create a solid contenders match. It definitely should be a 1v1 or a 4man, and Cage/Dante/Bison/??? sounds good, but I would prefer Bison/Cage to determine the 2nd spot in a 1v1 because Dante has a rock solid claim to a contender's match

What's not to understand?
The main belt hadn't had a contention match since the royal rumble a month and a half ago, while Casual had one just a few weeks from endgame, so the Main belt's contender match happens sooner and the casual can hold off for a bit.
Simple.

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!
So a casual shot is most likely next week which we know will involve Knuckles. I think he'll be going against either;

Kefka - who has 3 wins in a row (Wario, Toad and Zubaz)

Arino - who has 2 wins in a row, essentially 3 with his two 1v1's in the F4W. (Waluigi, Guile and Groose)

Illidan - 2 wins in a row (Bazza and Kenta)
and more importantly Knuckles was looking to book the fight by asking the GM. And who is our troll GM's favourite muscle? He might even book Knucks in a F4W with all the above because he's a bastard.

X: Doubt
On the other hand, however, all of Illidan's losses have been to either former VGCW champions, the current VGCW champion, and people who have BEEN going for the VGCW championship currently. Illidan should NOT be going after casuals.

EDIT: Forgot about Sabin, but honestly who cares.

Illidan in casuals would kind of ruin his image. Not to mention there's every chance he'd just bulldoze it Airman style.

He isn't the strongest guy in the company, but he SEEMS like he is when he fights. Go check the reactions to Bazza challenging him to a fight. The audience is practically writing his eulogy.

Illidan is in the Bison club of 'He's tough, but it always seems like his opponent COULD have won.' Illidan less-so because he can put on a squash here and there but still
Well Bazza seemed like he had NO CHANCE, but Falcon seemed like he'd have won had Gary not been there, hell, Wario put up a good fight against the Stormrage.

The only reason I'd see Illidan in casual's is for all the funny plot with Dan. Otherwise he should stay clear of that.

What's the benefit of holding off for Casuals when we have a storyline for it and plenty of potential contenders? Casual is way different in that it's something for midcarders who can't gain the momentum to enter the topcard to fight over, so momentum there is needed much less because if someone does actually gain proper momentum they'd be pushed to the top
I wasn't talking about the current situation of the VGCW title, I was talking about how Casuals doesn't particularly really ever need time off

I'm with you there. In a perfect world I think the best thing would be a main title defense every month, and a casual title defense every 2 months. At this point in the story, I think it'd be perfectly natural for Gary to force Scorpion into a situation where he'd have to defend every two weeks. A situation I think Scorpion would be perfectly happy with.

The casual title should be more like the TV Title than the IC title, in terms of defenses. Just have that shit always up for grabs.

I completly dissagree about Casual. The first Casual Contenders of season 9 was a mish mosh of people who had nothing going whatsoever.
Someone put it very well in "What lower midcarder won something recently? Ezio? Yeah throw him in there." The Casual was a throwaway title and we didn't like it, Airman's dropping of it and the plot with Dan and Knuckles elevated it into something great, and I don't want it to get stamped down to "Well Kefka's not doing anything, why not have him in it?" again.

I agree about frequent defenses though, but I think every title should have frequent defenses, Co-op and Casual have been very good about that recently.

Edit: That Jab at Kefka nonwithstanding he should totally be in the next contender's match.

I was literally about to say, Kefka has the best claim to a contenders shot right now. He ain't doing anything BECAUSE HE'S ABOUT TO GET THE STRAP!

Gonna latch that sucker onto Kefka-on-a-stick and interview the new champ.

I want to see Eggman go for Casuals. That triple (crown), baby.

So if getting all the titles makes the triple crown, what would you call it if Eggman proceeded to win casuals and a money in the bank match?
