If it would really be a thing with 5 other wrestler, I think I would choose these:

Donte (Yes, I'm one of those still sayaing Donte): He's not one of my favorite, but I have to say he's doing good right now, have a lot of momentum, some good matches, he dfeinitly is a contender.

Flint: Call me unbiest if you want, but damnit, he's doing good right now. Great performences, looking strong every night for a while, the guy definitly show some great potential. Scorpion is looking like a god right now...but what can he do against a GODSLAYER?

Cage: Now, now that's someone I don't like and I would like if he could disapear forever. But! He is a main-eventer, he did have some good performence, he deserve a title shot. But I still hate him.

Zangief: Outside of the PUSH GIEF, the guy is doing great right now. I really liked Gief vs Sonic and Gief versus Zubaz (And making me like a Sonic match ain't an easy task), I think he have one of the best moveset, especially for the finisher, so yeah, Gief foor the win!

Goemon: The guy is ready! After an absolutly great match against Haggar, I want to see him having a chance for the belt. The guy is doing good and it's a damn shame Ebisu always took the spotlight, 'cause I think he deserve way more credit.

I have to say, if it's a project that include lot's of people, I would love to see someone like Eggman or Jensen .

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!
How about Groose? He seems to have flown under the radar a bit but he's just as strong as the likes of Cage and Bison. Let's not forget he practically solo'd Bowser in his last match and won twice beforehand as well. Ganondorf is an outside pick, I think his last vanilla 1 v 1 loss was Octodad about 2 years ago!

Groose MIGHT work, but he might also be a little weak right now. He lost to Arino in that four-way, and now Arino's Casual Contender. That said, God Rooster also seems a little strong for casuals. He's stuck in that weird roster limbo. He could use another match or two. Toss him up against Vegeta and see what happens.

Speaking of The Badman, when are The Saiyans getting back in the Tag Title hunt? When are things happening in the tag scene in general? TJ & E seem to have earned a Contender's match, but against who? The Dragons are the only team that have won in recent memory, but the Saiyans and the DK Crew (assuming Diddy even still exists) have been no shows for ages.

He has pinned Vegeta, though. It was one of those weird Triple Threats that turns into a singles match at the end, however.

Right, good point. I'd have suggested Mac but he's not gonna be around for much longer unfortunately. Maybe give Gief's new push a real test in the form of a good old fashioned Groose-Loosening.

Groose lost to Arino in that match after he pinned Bowser, though, and made it look easy. It was pretty much a normal singles match with him throughout, too. Arino has been on top form lately too, I wouldn't say losing to him at the end of such a match is anything too shameful.

Looks like there's going to be two matches to determine placement in the Challenge Tower. I'm guessing that means four participants fighting to knock Scorpion off his hill?

In that case, my last guess for the roster would be Johnny Cage, Dante, Goemon, and either M. Bison or Gary, depending on whether the GM will book himself in the match. Those are the wrestlers with the hottest performance at the moment, so they seem like the most logical options.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nappa attempt to cash in as well, if Scorpion manages to fend off the gauntlet.

Now that the rest of the the guys from the Triple Threat are getting their shots, I really hope that we'll get more singles contenders match like the Casual Division has been doing

Do mini 4 or 6 man tournaments or whatever, I'm just so sick of multi mans

Ladies Love it.
If Layton can capitalize in another win or two off some more topcarders He's in line, as Is Cage, once again.

Bison took a bit hit in that Multi-man, but he's still got wins over Pheonix and Break since the Groose/Knuckles/Bison casual match and is 1-5 in his 1v1 matches since Season 9 started, with his only 1v1 loss to Gary Oak. If he can pick up another nice singles win, I think he's golden.
Throw him against Haggar or Goemon. Or Groose. I still want to see Bison vs Groose.

gief

he's probably got to be at least considered after that performance, right? he's on a pretty good roll right now, him, cage, and maybe bison might be good after this challenge tower is over.

Gief/Cage/Goemon seems like a good group to me.

Bison can join the fray with another win.

Before tonight, I'd have put Gief in casuals, but after beating Mac, he seems like he's got more potential than that. Maybe have Gief vs. Bison and put the winner into the next championship match.

Since the Challenge Tower is a couple of weeks away, I'll focus on casuals this time. For Arino's first opponent as Casual Champ, it seems pretty clear that these are the most dominant midcarders at the moment:

Flint vs. Kefka vs. Octodad

Flint's beaten Octodad and Layton, and Kefka's beaten Wario, Toad, and Zubaz. These two seem like the most obvious picks for the next casual match. We've had quite a few one-on-one matches for casuals, though, so we could use a third person. Sabin might be a good pick, but his injury might put him out of commission for a while. Zangief's another good candidate, but as mentioned earlier, after beating Mac he could stand to be pushed further.

The only other midcarder I can think of who seems to be on the rise is Octodad. He's been in a lot of casual contender's matches, but he did beat Air Man recently, which I suppose counts for something.

I'm wondering who'll face Mavericks for the Co-op title. The Dragons and Sonic & Knuckles Pratice won their respective match. Maybe those two in Contenders Match? Toejam & Earl won twice, but they have their hands busy with Groose.

I'd rather just see Flint/Kefka! They're both on streaks, and they have history so you could make a little plotline out of it, it would be fun.
