bringing up Layton, he could claim he outsmarted the guy who used his smarts to win the title and is the superior mind in VGCW |

He does kind of have one coming to him for getting ignored for Bowser in that contender's match Guile murdered him in. |

That's one of the compelling things about this upcoming matchup. Guile was on a downward spiral into midcard-dom before he won the Rumble lottery. And he got in with the most favorable circumstances possible with a triple threat match. As such, like when Protoman snuck into the Elimination Chamber as a wildcard pick and won the match, he's a huge question mark at the moment. Has Guile returned to being the monster he was back in Season 8, or has the luster faded from his shine? Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see Nappa get a spot in the contender's match. If he hadn't won the briefcase, he'd likely have become a contender on his own merits, as he was stomping almost everyone he fought against. While it's unprecedented for a former champ to get a rematch, Nappa did lose the belt through a triple threat(and his own hubris). It's possible he could get another chance - if he manages to defeat the other hopefuls in the contender's match. |

Ladies Love it.

Dan at least had to go through a contender's match, and it made sense since he in-plot mindgamed his way into it. I don't think Guile is the type of person to fall for any of Nappa's mindgames. |

There seems to be only one way to settle the Contender Question An Eight man tournament. That way, the winner would have proved himself along the way so the criticism of 'untested' won't mean squat. |

Roll dice to pick 16 random guys on roster. Four Fatal Fourway Flaming Tables Matches leading up to the winners of those competing in a Fatal Fourwar Flaming Tables Elimination Match for the Contendership. AND BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO WEEKS UNTIL END GAME, TUESDAY NIGHT IS JUST FOUR FLAMING TABLES MATCHES, THE TAG CONTENDERSHIP PROBABLY, AND A ZANGIEF MATCH. LET'S ROLL. |

The way I see it, there needs to be a small tournament, and this is how I would book it. Illidan vs Armstrong Toad vs Dan Duke vs Kanji Airman vs Sabin |

Not gonna lie, I'd mark for VGCW champion Toad harder than I would even if my favourites won it. |
