I'd wait just a touch longer before Airman is considered main belt material
he beat Duke yes, but lets let him beat one more top carder first, just to be sure
I KNOW Airman is far beyond midcard but I want to be certain he's fully ready for the main event scene
Yeah, he's coming off a shaky run of form as well, better make sure he can swim in the adult's pool before him telling to go in the ocean.

It kinda doesn't matter either, the next contender's match is a while away since we already have Sabin vs Kanji. Lots of stuff will change by then anyway.

Yeah, but I'm sure he can do it, I mean look at his singles record
14-5
and excluding Octodad and Ezio, look at his losses
'13 Groose
'13 DK
and '14 Proto
Airman is not to be taken lightly, Big Breezy will get that triple crown, I know it

Airman looked good against Barret and Flint and smashed the Dook. He's looking like he's ready to start being Airman again after putting over Ezio and Octodad. Shame Ezio never managed to spring off the momentum from that. Beating Airman is a pretty big achievement. Octodad mostly won through a bug in Airman's system, but hell, it adds to Octodad's wildcard image.

We've had quite a lot of Break Man matches lately which have all been really good, but I'd be happy seeing Blake take a step back and let his breezy buddy get some of that screen time. We already know that Break Man is a beast. I'd like to see Airman prove it more as well.

How about something we havent had in a long time.

6 Man Casual Contenders Battle Royale!

Stick Zangief in it with 5 new gen; Toad, Layton, Zubaz, Edgeworth and Cage.

Cage has had lots of Casual shots lately and his only win recently was against Knuckles. He needs to build up more momentum.

And Edgeworth has only had two matches, one where he nearly beat the current Champion, and one where he beat Bowser. That doesn't sound like a Casual wrestler to me. Let's see more of what he can do before we make assumptions.

I would say a 6-man is impossible until we get some matches in Season 11. Unless we start throwing guys like Bison, Break Man and Dracula into the mix, but then we're kind of going into a place most Casual contenders can't keep up.

Dracula is quietly building up quite a bit of Momentum. Throw him in a singles match with an Main-Eventer who's not in the main title picture like Donkey Kong or Bowser. I think a win over one of those guys is enough to consider main title consideration. Haggar's in a similar boat after a good win against the Kacho, so maybe have those guys have a match for a spot.
Travis really should be in the next Contender's match. Three straight wins over Dracula, Goemon, and Dante (all of whom could be considered Upper-Midcard) is pretty excellent.
Both of the Mavericks have been doing well for themselves and should be thrown into consideration.

Really, I feel like both the Main Title and Casual should have 6-Mans for contendership. Maybe even a Chamber of Elimination PPV!:
Main Title: Travis (wins over Drac/Goemon/Dante) v. Break Man (Triple Threat win, win against Wario) v. Air Man (6 man win, Win against Duke) v. Ganondorf (Beat Scorpion) v. Bison (Triple Threat win+ massive fan support) v. Dracula/Haggar

Casual Title: Johnny Cage (win over Knux) v. Toad (win over Gief) v. Heavy v. Eggman v. Wario v. Goemon These are all guys with fan support who have performed decently lately.

Right now the only people I'd consider a lock for the next VGCW Contenders' match are Travis, Break Man, and Ganondorf. And besides, it's way too early to be thinking about Contenders if you ask me, let's give it a few episodes before we can come up with a solid list!

I'd honestly like for Kanji to have a nice feud with Sabin. Maybe like a good two or three episodes of them trying to intimidate the other and potentially going with "dude we are idiots wanna go punch bears or some shit?" Both of them are kind of muscleheaded idiots, so that'll give us plenty of time to build up more stars.

Right now, I'd love to see more work from either Maverick, Bowser, Haggar, Armstrong, Edgeworth, and Travis. After his recent losses, Bowz needs to build himself back up after his stomping of Layton, and DK is serving the role of 'hey beat this guy and you look like gold' pretty well at the moment after his crushing loss to Scorps. Everyone else has good wins (even if people forget Edgeworth's pretty quickly due to PLOT PLOT PLOT time with the prosecutor), but need just a little bit more of a push to be a frontrunner.

though please not haggar he's boring.

Also... I'd like to just set a straight up 1 Vs 1 for the casual shot. Toad and Johnny look a lot better than the rest of the crowd at the moment, and Groose can afford a challenger pretty quickly because he seems like a damn strong champ and we should push that for all it's worth.

Didn't the stipulation say that Kanji and TJE would be given their title shots on the next show after EGX? Guess it wouldn't be out of left field for the new showrunner to change that, but it'd be nice to start the new season off with a low-key episode that still has some seriously major stakes. Especially since Sabin isn't a particularly gripping title holder(yet, anyway) and the Dragons seem to have the problem the Shield had of being so far ahead of the field in terms of capability and entertainment that they've done pretty much all I can see them doing in the very short amount of time they've had the belts. Maybe a feud with the Fuckheads'll prove me wrong though.

In my perfect world this would be my longterm list for VGCW championship contenders.

Kanji (already in line)
Bowser
Ganondorf
Armstrong
Snake

Or he could just fall back on that Legends contract that he was supposed to get in Season 10.

please don't put ganondorf in the title scene again
what's wrong with Ganon

I'd consider him the best on the roster atm, his record in 2k14 has been incredible

Yeah, Ganon has been out of the title scene for an EXTREMELY long time. Outside of that one fan voted elimination chamber and the MITB (and that doesn't really count), Ganon's last title shot (including all contender's matches) was on April 2nd, 2013. More than two years ago.
His 2K14 record is pretty fantastic (not counting tags, of course), with his only losses being against Duke in an I-Quit match, was not involved in the decision of the Duke/Guile triple threat, was pinned last by Vegeta in a fourway, the MITB ladder match, and Nightmare Gabe.
As you can see, that's a grand total of one singles loss and from a notoriously wonky match-type. And it's not like he didn't wrestle. He's got some pretty impressive wins. Beat Donkey Kong, destroyed Ezio twice, beat Dracula, beat The Nerd/Sonic, and Scorpion.
So we've got a guy who hasn't had any matches connected to main belt in over two years who just beat the single greatest champion of all time. How anyone can say his name shouldn't be in the picture is beyond me.

Um
Why Armstrong? I get that he's been great so far but dude has 2 wins over the same guy. It was generally agreed that Dante and Kanji both had to wait a little while before they got a shot, so I'm not sure why Armstrong is in the conversation
