Arino and Bison would blow the roof of the place. Let's do it. |

Arino v Bison v Cage v Travis. 5-Star favorites. Let's do it. |

I'd say that the best setup would be Travis vs Cage vs Break Man vs Bison/Arino winner |

Actually, I'd agree on Arino over Barret. I'd forgotten Arino was that high up in the ranks. Barret could probably use a break from title shots for a while. Make the match for the fourth spot Arino vs. Airman. So, that would be Travis, Cage, Ganon, and Arino or Air Man. Seems like a good lineup. Edited by Wyvernil, Jul 14 2015, 09:31 PM.

Johnny Cage just beat Phoenix Wright and had control in the final stretch. He's pulled off something we haven't seen against Nick in over a year. Give Cage a title shot. |

I'd love to see Air Man go after WHC. I think Ganon would be a great choice for contender, too, but I don't think season 11 is the time for his grimdark bullshit. I'd rather Ganon continue to exclusively work PPVs until the next season. Then you can just hand him a title shot so long as he wins the aforementioned matches. If *anyone* in VGCW can just lay claim to a title shot uncontested, it's Ganon. So maybe after the smoke clears on Kanji vs. Sabin, Cage vs. Air Man vs. TBD would be good. |

I played The Game and got stuck with Dunn for a month.

Whilst Barret's continual and eternal hunt for any belt period amuses me to no end, even I have to say the guy should at least have 1-2 more singles matches, just to be sure he's ready to finally give it another shot. Put him against upper midcarders and go from there, and if he's gud enough, then give him a chance in a contender's match to prove his mettle. But until then, he's got a bit further to go before he can earn anything under this new system. As for contender's match for after Kanji vs. Sabin, I would say just go Cage vs. Arino vs. Bison vs. Dante vs. Travis vs. (my surprise choice) Earl for maximum hype results. Earl mainly because I feel that funky alien has the prospects of a true hype champ. I'd include Haggar as well, but he's still an unknown in this new system, and I doubt people are yet ready for Mayor of VGCW Round 2/3 currently. |

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!

Yeah I'd say Ganondorf is a bit dark for a champion in a lighter era. However I don't just want to see him at PPV's. Let him come out in a multiman or against another top carder randomly who isn't vying for the belt like Donkey Kong, Bowser or Nappa. Kinda hard to say who's up for the next shot after Kanji until a few more episodes have passed. Casuals is the only one open right now and with Groose holding the belt theres a LOT of people from upper-mid below who can challege for it. |

If Ganon gets sucked into the void of not existing again after destroying fucking SCORPION I don't even know what the hell. Especially when we're suggesting a formerly tag team exclusive with one singles match ever, the robot that's lost to Ezio and Octodad fairly recently, and friggin' Barret "Choke Artist" Wallace as alternatives. |

Ganondorf hasn't been a particularly interesting or fun wrestler to watch, however, so it shouldn't be surprising people aren't really chomping at the bit to see more of him. He's basically a less malevolent (...heh) male version of Sindel. No-one denies his strength, but it doesn't mean they care, either. |

Ganondorf is and always has been one of the most hype wrestlers in the entire league though. Heck, he's arguably even one of the cornerstones of VGCW. Ganon has had good matches too, it's just that he started half-assing it then going "I want to win now," after his match with DK. Between his two-year break from the title scene and the big wins he's accumulated in the past few Seasons, Ganon is more than due for another title shot and doesn't have to doom and gloom it up. |

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time
|
Ganondorf's the closest thing we have to the face of VGCW, the only guy who rivals his icon status is Waluigi. He really hasn't wrestled much in 2K14 Singles and most of his matches are alright. I don't think it's fair to say he's not interesting. He's the Lord of Darkness, for godsakes. He's got some good wins and a big win over Scorpion. He hasn't had a No.1 Contender's match since the Elimination Chamber Kefka won, and before that, the fourway with Gabe, Barkley, and Wily over 2 years ago. He deserves a shot. |

Barret Wallace should proooooooobably concern himself with the casual title over the main belt. He's a strong competitor for sure, low topcard probably, but I can't see him as anything other than a paper champ should he ever take the main belt after his millionth try. To quote the greatest wrestling legend today and of all time, Barret, people like you don't get to be champion. |

I don't think anyone is arguing he doesn't deserve it. He very plainly does. I just don't necessarily see any reason to be all that excited about Ganon getting another title run. It will just kind of be more of what everyone expects from him. Ganondorf/Nappa is far more compelling than anything else, at this point. |

I agree with NottyRose(which seems to be happening a lot lately. Posting pals!) He probably deserves it about five times over, it's just not a particularly avenue to go down. Down the line, absolutely, I guarantee there will be a time where Ganondorf getting another title shot will be welcome. But we just got a new showrunner who is presumably with a lighthearted presentation looking to shake up the title scene a bit, and Ganondorf seems to be just about the worst way to accomplish those goals. |
