I'd say Goemon could use a casual shot. He could face the winner of Ezio/Layton.
Lets actually wait, Goemon was main belt caliber at the tail end of Season 8
with that solid win over Gary, lets wait a little bit and see if Goemon can get the main belt shot he's wanted for a long time
I think Goemon can do it

as the tag titles go, I think Birds could realistically get a shot with how much they've both picked themselves up

Goemon vs Vegeta. Loser tries for Casuals. Winner goes for the Main belt.

I don't think there is a team we could put in a tag contenders match yet. Birds, Fuckheads and Mavericks are on the path there though. The Saiyans...are maybe a bit too terrifying.

Terrifying is good, but if goddamn Shadaloo could take The Saiyans down for the belts, I'm pretty sure any of those other teams you mentioned could take them nowadays. Yes, even The Birds. Really, I'd love to see Mavericks/Fuckheads/Birds v Saiyans, that'd be a great match.

It was the other way around chief, and it was PK Chu that took them down.

Working for 12 hours straight doesn't do my memory any favors, does it? Probably doesn't. They took down GCFU, didn't they? I knew they took the belts from some crazy strong team.

It's all good! Can happen to the best of us.

Plus you gave me an excuse to post the gif of Sagat crying, and that's what counts.

Still a valid point in a sense. If not for the roll-up who knows, Shadoloo might still hold the belts today.

Despite how hated they were, Shadaloo had a great story arc.
They knew their days as a tag team, and even as employees were numbered, unless they did something big.
Then goddamn they did, winning a tourny, then taking down the strongest team in the business....
only to lose the title in their first defense and not have another match together until their I Quit.

So to my knowledge, The Birds of Prey, The Sayains, Barret and Flint, The Mavericks, The Fuckheads. These are the teams that have gotten a win recently.

Considering that the Birds' wins were over Barret and Flint, and that Barret and Flint win came from beating The Mavericks nearly a month ago, It's probably safe to count them out.

Part of me really don't want the mavericks in there (Mainly because I fear for my survivor chances) and the two of them should really be focusing on their singles careers right now.
But! The Sayains just returned, and are more than a good enough team to earn a contendership on their own. I wouldn't put Vegeta or Nappa in this.

Fuckheads are another odd choice, but, teams have gotten into Co-Op contention from one win, (Ala, birds and their win over Shadow Blitz, though ,I feel that they were chosen over TJ&E so that TJ&E&Kanji could have their 'New Gen' storyline).

Both Dante and Travis have been out of singles since endgame but I would put Dante in this over Travis because a multiman is always a good place to return to singles after losing a feud, Ala Illidan.

For the other two, I'd give it to Break and Falcon, as Break hasn't had a 1v1 match since fighting Wario last season, and Falcon hasn't had a match to show off his new moveset very well aside from a chaotic six man and a tag match that Ezio esentially soloed.

So, It sounds like it would be Dante vs Break vs Falcon.
Saying that makes me realize the last time we did this it was the exact same lineup...just replace Dante with Eggman.

So, now we know the co-op championship will be decided by a three-way match.

My guess is similar to yours: I'm guessing Mavericks vs. Birds of Prey vs. Saiyans, with the possibility that the Fuckheads could replace the Saiyans in the lineup. Since Travis and Dante have only had one match as a tag team in VGCW (to my recollection), I'm going to guess the Saiyans get the nod first. It has been a few seasons since their last championship run, after all.

NOPE.
I really really hope the triple threat is Air Man representing the Mavericks, Vegeta representing the Saiyans, and Captain Falcon representing the Birds of Prey

You know. Just cuz.

Nappa representing the Saiyans seems more likely since Vegeta wrestled last week.

As logn as he dosen't perform like he did against Heavy and Barret that one time, the other two representnt should be fine. But if he does performe like that... let just say it's doing to be a really painful night for the two fools who stand in face of him.
