I do think he should be next in line for a title shot regardless after that performance. |

Alas, the tourney wasn't for a title shot, but he should most definitely be in the next contender's match. Depending on how Air Man/Drac goes, it might be time for Break to step in as well. Add some Waluigi Thyme, since he totally deserves it, and you got a stew going. Edited by BAH GAWD KANG, Nov 4 2015, 10:00 AM.

Even though it wasn't for a title shot, I do think Vegeta should now be in line for a contendership shot. Though I don't know who it would be against, since just looking at a brief glimpse of who I'd consider off the top of my head, most seem to have either just had a shot to be the #1 contender (Ezio, Barrett, Kanji, etc.) or are busy in other issues (Snake). Maybe Break Man, depending on the results of Drac/Air Man. |

Right now, I'd make it a triple threat. Vegeta vs. Break Man vs. Solid Snake This wouldn't be until Season 12, though, and we've still got a couple of episodes to go until Endgame, so a lot could change in the meantime. We'll have to wait and see. |

I don't think it'd be Snake, though, since he's probably going to be going for Endgame with Salvation Ops. |

I'm always the man.

I think if Slayton picks up another win, he could be on his way to contendership for the big title. He's been burying people left and right; I just think he needs that match vs top card chance to really get his foot in the door. |

This would be after Endgame, so that wouldn't be an issue. Though if Snake and Jensen win the co-op championship, that could change things. Then again, I'm of the opinion that a co-op champion should still be eligible for the casual or main belts. I seem to recall Ganondorf holding both a main and co-op belt before (if only for a brief moment). |

We try to avoid double champs whenever we can though, really. Overexposure is a major problem, even with the most popular of stars, and double champing really really exacerbates it. |

"Double Champ" being an issue really feels more theoretical, though. Off the top of my head, our two documented cases of it are Chell and Ganondorf. Chell seemed to take it in stride, while Ganon was simply suffering from his previous reigns being... well, the 1000 Years of Darkness. Neither of them really came from him holding both belts; rather it was because he was '13 Ganondorf and holy shit '13 Ganondorf. I mean it's not the MOST ideal, but I don't think it's something that should be dismissed just based on the concept. |

The big thing I'm thinking of is Red. Not even that he seized a double championship, but the fact that he even got an oppertunity to, now Red is really divisive anyway so, take it in stride, but the royal rumble win at the same time as being tag champ was what drove a massive amount of people to the breaking point. Among other things, that was a stew of a whole lot of things, but the potential double was a big part. |

NOPE.

Chell was also pretty bad as a champion, even if Faith covered for her fairly well. |

AVGN also had the same opportunity to be a Double Champion twice and I don't remember seeing that many people complaining about it. I don't really have a problem with Double Champions, but I can see the problems it can cause. |

AVGN Had that opperunity as Gabe was Champ, though. And yeah, I suppose it just 100% depends on the time, challanger and champ. |

I wouldn't say there's necessarily an inherent problem or dislike of double champions, it's just an opportunity cost thing. If Snake is both VGCW Champion and Co-Op Champion, that's one less storyline for someone else to be involved in. Whether or not that's a huge concern is left up to personal tastes, but I would imagine from a showrunner's perspective, it's probably better to try and use as many people as you can. |
