Another possible candidate for the identity of the black ranger: Guile. The ranger promo this week mentioned that he kept trying to sic the other rangers on Duke Nukem earlier, and now he just suggested that they go after Ganon... Coincidence? Hmm... With all of Guile's gripes about being under-appreciated(which led to his recent heel turn), him being a ring ranger would actually make sense. I'm also thinking at least one of the rangers will be someone unexpected: either a previously released wrestler who snuck back in, or a Star Road/EDBW candidate. |

Except the skin we can see on him is black. Besides it is not like the Orange Ranger being Octodad is not racist already going by that standard. |

Redeemed.

The black skin could be war paint, although it's not likely. But it would make sense in case the black ranger turns out to be Guile. He would be trying to deceive others. But the other thing we know about the rangers now is that they apparently don't know their team mates' true identity. Which could mean they have been recruited by someone else... If so, who's their boss ? Another ranger ? A former wrestler ? Baz McMahon working from his cell ? John Bank ? Edited by Blauze, Apr 1 2014, 10:06 PM.

After getting a good look at Black Ranger's neck ring, the way the mask fades into the skin before the shirt cutoff makes me think that he may not be black after all. Something about the bottom part of the neck looks too grayish to be natural skin, brown or pink. |

I thought it may have been an issue with the CAW disguises, or Bazza applied some additional touches because the costumes glitched out and you could still tell who the wrestlers were. |

Guile did nothing wrong
|
Judging by what black ranger said, it's possible that he's Guile. It doesn't make too much sense right now though, considering that Guile is practically on a main event run. Another possibility is them attacking Ganon, only to be saved by Guile and Duke, setting up the obligatory 6 man tag at End Game. That's just a shot in the dark though, it's more likely to just be Guile. |

Maybe it's not Guile, but he is working for Guile. What if Guile is the man behind it all? The XCOM Rookie has become the XCOM Commander. |

So, any ideas on the identity of the Red Ranger? We haven't seen him yet, so we have no clues to go on, but there's a few possibilities. Adam Jensen: Jensen is both the red ranger and the light switcher-offer. The Ring Rangers are just the latest step in Jensen's plan to undermine Gabe and take control of VGCW. Kratos: I seem to recall that there was a new Kratos CAW in the developmental leagues which got a good reaction from the crowd, but vanished on the transition to EDBW. Could this be because there were plans in mind for Kratos? Could the one-time champion be coming back for revenge? Another SNST/EDBW character: One of the EDBW recruits, Ness, has just been revealed. I seem to recall that there was another one planned to make an appearance down the road. Hmm... Red Ranger: The Red Ranger is the Red Ranger. We've seen Ness rise from the grave of the prehistoric era of VGCW, maybe other zombies are soon to shamble back onto the scene. |

Even I can feel the power...
|
It would be fantastic to see the most beloved VGCW Champion of all time return, and he makes a lot of sense as he's the poster boy for getting screwed by the authority. I don't expect it to be Kratos, but I would mark the hell out. |
