Grey Fox might also help Proto Man. He does have a favor to repay the guy for saving his life, and he could want to free the mechanized wrestlers because he knows how painful and difficult it can be to adjust to life as a cyborg. They're also straight-up tools now, and Fox is well-known for advocating that people aren't "tools of the government, or anyone else".

Gray Fox would make sense plot-wise, but if I recall correctly, he showed up on the Elimination Chamber poll. If Bazza had plans for him, he probably wouldn't have.

Sonic is more likely, but has the Practice become enough of a threat at this point for him to put aside his differences with Proto? If we get a cutscene next week which plays up Sonic's continuing grudge with Proto, then it'll be more surprising (and thus more likely) when he shows up to join forces.

Flint is a possibility, too. He's known for lending a helping hand, and has experience with killer cyborgs from his own game. Plus, there's the matter of his mysterious disappearance. Where could he have gone?

There's also the possibility of some new muscle being brought in. With Mr. Satan and either Bison or Sagat gone, we could use some new challengers. Though the return of Mega Man would make sense for the plot, would he be able to leave a lasting legacy in the VGCW this time? After all, Mega Man X wasn't exactly one of the Star Road guys people were clamoring for...

Or maybe we'll see Dr. Light finally show up in person.

Not until I updated him anyhow for what its worth, still I don't expect him to show up either, I think it'll either be Mega Man or Sonic in some form or fashion, or Bazza takes a page from Mega Man's Final Smash and its Mega Man, X, Legends' Mega Man and Either EXE or StarForce's mega man with Proto Man

Hopefully this! Nothing against Mega Man, but Wily vs Light would be hype.

And now the Practice's true plans are coming to light. Apparently, we haven't yet seen their strongest robot. So who's their "primary target" for borging? A few ideas come to mind:

Gabe Newell: If they control the GM, they control the VGCW. It would fit well for the Practice to try to seize power through the puppet reign of Steam-Gaben. This might also re-ignite a new Jensen vs. Steam-Gaben rivalry, as Jensen is already a cyborg and immune to being borged.

Bowser: Bowser's probably the strongest wrestler not involved in the elimination chamber, and presumably doesn't have anything planned for Endgame. A potential Super Sonic vs. Mecha-Bowser match would be pretty damn hype.

Sonic: Protoman may no longer be riding alone, now that he's got Gray Fox on his team, but what about Sonic? After all, we've still got that Mecha Sonic CAW hovering around... Is Eggman looking to take his old foe out of the picture?

I expect that Protoman and Gray Fox will eventually find a bot they can't handle, which will be the prompt for Sonic to put aside his differences with Proto and join the team. I also expect Super Sonic to show up at Endgame, since I don't think he's appeared in VGCW yet and this would be an opportune moment. Maybe Sonic's been MIA so far because he's looking for the Chaos Emeralds in order to show up as Super Sonic.

If the main target isn't Gabe or Bowser, I get the feeling that it's Scorpion. The Practice is no doubt aware of his amazing rise to the top, and he already has the belt. If they can somehow mechanize him they'll have both belts and perhaps the strongest wrestler of all time.

A theory (a rather stupid one at that) leading into this is that MAYBE this could be a 2-Season plot string, with this End Game being Eggman and Wily standing triumphant over their target, either Gabe or whoever is champion at that time. The next season spent will be Proto and Grey Fox freeing the rest of the robots before Wily and Eggman unleash the big back-up plan or something of the sort at that season's end game.

Scorpion could work too. After all, the Mortal Kombat series does have robot ninjas on its cast list(including a robot Sub-Zero in the latest game), so a robot Scorpion wouldn't be too farfetched.

Of course, he's likely to be occupied with Kefka, assuming their match will be at Endgame. Of course, I'm not certain that this has been confirmed. If Protoman's battle against the robot masters is anything like the Season 5 Dragonball hunt (as in, we get one robot fight per week), we could be in for a very long season. If we end up with a super-extended season with 16-18 episodes, it's possible we'll get the Scorpion/Kefka fight, then one more title defense at Endgame.

We could see multiple robot master eliminations, like say if Proto and Gray start tag teaming them then we could knock them down in half the time (if that's where we're going with it).

I'd like it if we named all the currently-unnamed (or at least, tentatively-named) Roboticized Masters so far.

Knuckles - Brass Knuckles (even though Knuckles Man is canon, b-bakas)
Flint - Flint and Steel
Dan - Dandroid, rest his circuits
Little Mac - Little Mech
Zangief - Mecha/Robo Zangief

THAT LEAVES US

Wario - My best idea is Million Dollar Man, but unnamed.
Nappa - Unnamed

Airman is their eighth robot master, filling out the roster (with their target liable to be a Dark Man figure, if you've played MM5, in that he shows up in the endgame castles after you beat the eight robot masters)

Out of the whole roster? Bowser is almost certainly the prime target candidate.

Well, there was a robot Bowser in Mario Sunshine, no? So, yeah, he could just be the big target.

Going out on a limb and going to say even if Master Plan and their robots win every match they will still be defeated at the end of the season because that is how every storyline goes.
