So, reviving this....

As is, Nightmare Gaben is simply too strong. Even Donkey Kong packing the glitch bomb didn't KILL Ryo, who actually had a match first; Fox was fresh, and Gaben still killed him in 3-4 moves. Even Geno needed some steel stairs to do in Voody.

Obviously, we need a plot device to drain off some of Nightmare Gaben's power. Maybe Dracula can do something, as he managed to seal this force up once before. Otherwise, we may end up with the VGCW equivalent of The Golden Age.

So what you're trying to say is...

We need Banon?

Clearly Geno needs to have a training arc and be our next returnee. With some luck stairs, he'll be able to kill another lovable character turned corrupt.

Or just have Eggman give Snake some Sayian genes or something. Dude can probably rage his way to victory from there.

I just realized, it's too bad we can't just GIVE a character the Glitch Bomb for this one fight, as it no longer exists in WWE2K14...

...wait, I know! We need some sort of chaos emerald trick to send us back in time to WWE2K13! Sonic, now's your chance to make up for your fall during Season 8!

I wasn't watching when Geno was on (so I don't know how popular he is) but I can see him getting atomic heat for being another returning future endeavored wrestler getting time over an EDBW one

Geno was quite unpopular. He lost a lot and wasn't very interesting. Sadly, since the source character is a fan favourite.

So...Nappa/Duke feud in the works?

I...did not see this coming at all from Jolly Ol' Nappa and Balls-on-Hardcore-but-honorable Duke. All apparently because Nappa attacked Scorps, and Duke attacked the ref...

What is even up with that? Why would Nappa suddenly assault Scorpion? And moreso why would Duke then attack the ref?

Nappa was ready to take the belt right then and there, hence why he called the ref in. Then Duke showed up and K.O.'d the ref so the match was unable to start.

Nappa was going to cash-in MitB on Scorpion.

As for Duke, he has a well-known dislike of alien bastards!

Oh, right, MitB...he didn't have the briefcase though, so I don't know how legal that'd be...

But it DOES make sense now.

It was confirmed a while back that you can cash-in without a briefcase in VGCW.
