Questioner of Sick Men
|
THE GAMESHARK SMELLS BLOOD. How are our heroes going to get out of this one? Will the GS fight them on their own terms in the season finale, or is it going to possess some unlucky wrestler and use them as a proxy? |

The World Ends With You has a boss fight where you fight a shark that's literally made of digital noises. I might be reaching. |

Well...I was on the money with MissingNo., but I wasn't reaching hard enough. Now the question remains...with the Gameshark messing with things, and seeing some Wrestlers "glitched"...I wonder what happened to certain other wrestlers? |

Ah, a Gameshark. Those break reality and can cause glitches themselves. It fits the bill perfectly. Well, Break Man's been glitchy long before the Gameshark appeared, so he might be able to defeat it at its own game. However, he'll probably not do anything in the hopes that the Gameshark destroys humanity, even if it means endangering himself. This is an insane stretch, but what about Air Man? In addition to being formidable overall, it was an air tank that killed the shark at the end of Jaws. Can Air Man blow away even the cheats and force the shark to simply get good? Well, even if he could, Break Man would probably talk him down. Crap. Gabe's gone now, so we can't VAC Ban the Gameshark out of existence either. This could be tough to deal with if the shark proves harmful. |

I get the feeling he's actually involved in this somehow; maybe bringing it to the place to get back at Gary. It wouldn't be the first seafaring world-screwer he's worked with, at least. |

I am beyond excited that Segata is going to be a major figure this season. This is amazing as a big fan of the guy. Finally getting his big break! I just hope he doesn't die in the end like in the commercials. |

It occurred to me last night that we all should've seen the Gameshark coming. The Midseason special was called Infinite Summer. Infinite Health, Infinite Ammo, Infinite Lives... Infinite Summer Cheat Code Enabled. |

This occurred to me about an hour ago. In both the main game and Sam DLC in Metal Gear Rising, Armstrong will absorb energy from his surroundings, notably machines and electrical equipment, to give himself an additional super charge before combat. Now, while this might merely be a requirement to activate his nanomachines, it is never made clear if that is the case. If this isn't an activation process, it's possible that Raiden and Sam both fought what was effectively a Super Armstrong. If the energy drain is an actual boost, Armstrong's upper limits may have yet to be seen. What does this mean for VGCW? Armstrong might be able to outright absorb the Gameshark and take its powers. If this proves true, Gary Oak's days as GM are numbered and VGCW's management may soon become hellish. |

MAY IS ̶B̶A̶E̶ HEEL!

I wasn't sure what Wily got from the Game Shark, if he even got anything to begin with. Was he given youth? A cheat code to exude more swag? Or was he just given cool new duds because it's Summer? |

More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.
|
Just an attire change. Wily's had an alt ever since the 2K14 conversion that never got used, based on his look in the Mega Man Megamix manga, so I decided to give it some use:

Now that I've seen that costume in all its glory I absolutely can't wait to see Wily coming out wearing it with his usual entrance. The sheer swag will be off the charts. |
