The World Ends With You has a boss fight where you fight a shark that's literally made of digital noises. I might be reaching.

Stop reminding me of Ovaltine.

I bought a jar of Ovaltine after that incident and I still have it in the kitchen.

So Bowser enlisted Sho to do Gameshark stuff? Or is Sho only coming in at the same time? Is 'Gameshark' just Sho's online handle or something? That'd be funny.

I doubt Bowser is related to any of the GameShark's incidents...but then again, Sho does have a tendency to stab people in the back for kicks, but we would've known about it by now.

And like Mosaique said, Sharks are plentiful in The World Ends With You, so for all we know, "GameShark" could very well just be an alias. In TWEWY, the whole story revolves around "The Reaper's Game", and Sho is given the nickname of "The Grim Reaper", so for all we know, Sho could very well have been hiding in plain sight all these months and we haven't even noticed.

The Reaper's Game...Shark?

I assumed Bowser enlisted Gameshark due to this plot, but he could just be an opportunist. Hard to say for now.
