Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
There's a bit more at stake when trying to harness the power of the VGCW audience. We are after all the ones who prayed the Gabe away. If someone could harness that potential? Look the fuck out. |

So the only way for us to beat Bison is to go full Corpus Christi and sit on our hands for the whole show? |

Do we have to scream out "WHAT?" at every Bison promo and chant for CM Punk when's he's wrestling? Dear God, it's worse than I feared. |

No see what we have to do is go to the Tokyo Dome. Then we'll all be too respectful to show emotion. |

I figure that Bison is hoping to create a sort of Negative Spirit Bomb, either to conquer the world with directly or to grant himself and his minions untold amounts of power. Also, he might be able to use that negative energy to make other people go insane with rage or hatred and serve as his attack dogs. Bison may even be able to split up pieces of his soul, put them in people, and then control them through those via Psycho Power. Come to think of it, Bison could already have expanded his army. As a "self-insert" silent protagonist who has acted on rage before, Red might be susceptible to the same thing Bison has apparently done to Falcon and Asura. IIRC Illidan gradually went insane and battled anything that moved in World of Warcraft, and The Dragons may also prove malleable due to their background, nature (like in their rap theme), and the fact that the Lees literally fought over Marian once. We also know that Dan was previously a heel and even as a face tricked Knuckles into giving him a rematch for the Casual Title. Then of course there's Sho, who might be working with Shadaloo to some degree, and he may have recruited both Mavericks as well. |

The topic in the Season 12 discussion thread shifted to plot speculation, so I'm going to throw my wild guesses here, assuming everyone's been keeping up with the conversation in that thread. I believe that Bison was talking to Armstrong behind the scenes in Midgar. I don't believe he's going to just lie down and be Gary Oak's muscle-in-a-suit. After all, at Challenge Tower his did say Illidan was blinded by arrogance when he accused Armstrong of willingly being Gary's errand boy. So if he wanted to enact a coup d'état, Blood Money was the perfect opportunity to get the ball rolling. Championship on the line, the match is interrupted, where does the belt go? Not around Drac or Barret's waists, that's been made clear. Ref had it last, so it stands to reason that if Gary (or Armstrong speaking in Gary's name) asked for the belt, Ref would have to hand it over. Now, all Armstrong has to do is put Gary out of commission, wait for Bison to win the matches (and if he doesn't, it's been heavily implied that the Shinra cybernetics and genetic modifications were for Bison and crew), and bam. Armstrong's got a corporate champion in Bison, and flunkies Asura and Blood Falcon to keep everything in line. This is assuming that the belt hasn't been plundered in the confusion, and that Ref would give it to Armstrong. Also, it doesn't answer exactly how Bison got Falcon and Asura to start working for him in the first place either. Neither does it offer any reason why Bison should take orders from Armstrong. Basically my guess has got more holes than a Swiss cheese at a gun club, so I'm eager for the plot to keep moving forward and building up as it goes. EDIT 16/3/2016 - Well, there goes my theory. Save us, Zubaz. Edited by Jayarrpee, Mar 15 2016, 08:15 PM.

So with the revelation that VGCW was banned from London (where presumably the entire Bazza era took place) the final stop of this world tour might have more significance than we expected, it might just end up being where vgcw makes its new home. |

More sizzle than a rasher of bacon.

South London was where Bazza said it took place a couple times. So I just ran with that to kick off Season 11 and reference it again here. |

It's going to be Skyloft so Groose gets the hometown pop all night every night. Also you can never leave because it's in the sky so you just fall off and die. |

I was thinking about Blood Falcon and I think I realized something. You remember when Vegeta went to Dracula for power and became Majin Vegeta, because he was frustrated that he just couldn't get any wins? I think that is what's going on with Falcon. He just broke the legendary super jobbers record. He must have gotten frustrated just like Vegeta and went to Bison to get more power. I thought it was neat how similar the two stories kind of are, its pretty fitting. Edited by Nerevar28, Mar 16 2016, 11:33 AM.

If that's the case, Falcon got a seriously raw deal. Vegeta got power from Dracula and went on to become the champion. Falcon got power from Bison and went on to lose to the guy who was Dracula's lackey. Shoulda just gone to freakin' Dracula, Falcon. He'd have hooked you up. |
