Well, some interesting motion in the tables this week...actually no I lie, it's mostly predictable motion, but might as well address it all. Dr. Wily isn't exactly the strongest competitor to win against, but Octodad takes it nevertheless, and makes a slow climb up the ladder, while Wily's place doesn't change at all, putting him between his latest recruit and an assassin down on his luck. Falcon wasn't expected to win over Phoenix, and the results show it. He bumps down very slightly, while the Lawyer recovers some lost ground from his Elimination Chamber loss. The triple-threat is a bit more interesting. Sonic, who has been in a slump as of late and was seeded as the bottom pick for this, comes out with a win that essentially swaps places with the Badman, who needs to pick up some momentum if he's going to stay out of the Jobber League. AVGN drops a spot, but that's mostly due to other circumstances. Nappa, the Mastadon that he is, crushes Snake's dreams of being a top contender, earning just enough to make it above our GM and into the top 10 at number 8. Not a lot of motion in the tag team bracket, except for Mystic Ninjas taking a bit of a dive... Red...poor Red had a huge chance here, and for it all he gets is a little drop into #23. So much for Pratt intervention...Airman, on the other hand, swells to the #2 spot, and gives some credit to his power over the Casual Belt. Bison put on a pretty good fight against Duke, but pretty good isn't good enough when you're up against top 10 contenders, so the two slide a tiny bit further apart. As for the main event...I maintain that it was a good match, and that Kefka put a lot of heart and effort into the fight...but Scorpion's might was just too much. The Klown manages to stay in the top 20, but that only ensures that he's safely at the top of the Midkard, a far call away from where he rose towards when heading for that belt. All in all, it was a pretty slow night for the Power Rankings Chart. No big moves anywhere, a lot of setting in towards different directions, and no big surprises to write home about. This is probably a stupid question, but what does the last number represent? I'd assume draws but that doesn't make any sense. |

Losses in which you weren't pinned or otherwise defeated. Like how AVGN lost the tables match but wasn't the one put through a table. |

I just realised that Guile and Duke have the same W/L/D record. Also it doesn't matter what you think, because the DK Crew have been the most dominant team of the last few months 26/08/2014 |

What is Illidan's one non-pinned loss? The wiki doesn't have it. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?

Probably referring to Chamber of Elimination, where while he was pinned, he wasn't eliminated first. |

Order! Order in the court!

Just realized that Captain Falcon is way lower than he should be. Them Top Card matchups aren't doing good for his record. In fact, the midcard right now really is strange. I guess that's what happens when most of them are roboticized. |

I don't know if he's going to show up in any singles matches from now on. I don't generally work out numbers for guys who only ever have one match (see: Phoenix Wright (damaged)) but if he shows up again then I already ran his match. I just didn't include it in the table. Now if Billy AND Jimmy start having matches on their own, there may be something to say about them sharing a spot. Or not, I dunno. |

A lot more motion in the charts lately that's hard to really get hyped about... I mean, rising stars Ebisumaru and Dan are pretty cool, and their wins against established midcarders is pretty impressive. And while Tingle and Sonic aren't exactly top-tier talent, the fact that they're falling this fast is perhaps more telling about their future, and how bleak it looks for them. Segata's in even worse trouble right now though, falling even lower than Eggman and just a few dangerous steps from the bottom. A fight against Illidan was perhaps a bit much for the former Casual Champ to cut his teeth into. Red got really unlucky being the target of Brass Knuckles. The roboticized characters got what seems like a fairly significant boost. Knuckles may not be super weak, and Red may only still be recovering his lost glory, but it was still a pretty significant win for the Guy D N. And Grey Fox dropped a little while Mac rose a bit, but even if Mac hadn't been roboticized that might've been true. He IS Youngblood after all. That's about it. There's some more bits of small movement from all the shifting around but I think at this point we're all just waiting to see who's going to be next to challenge Scorpion at End Game. |

Calling Tingle an 'established midcarder' is extremely generous. |

I was worried after looking at Guile's final rating that he'd pass the champion, but then I remembered that Protoman wasn't champion anymore I'm sorry that was a low blow 2/6/2014 |

Probably not good at this
|
Alright, my reactions to all of this. Bowser's still in top 10, this is good because him being anywhere else would be outright insulting to his talent. Waluigi being above #30 is also good because regardless of his record I think he's actually midcard talent. He was definitely lowcard in 13 but here, mid, for sure. Guile is going to be #1 soon and I will not debate that he has earned it with his methodical pace and amazing AI strategies. Guile has finally become World Warrior Guile. Now can his signature be the magic fullscreen throw from World Warrior?(If WWE modding ever becomes a thing....) Overall, good night, good night indeed. |

Sounds Like A Bodacious Time

Disappointed that Bison still hasn't cracked the top 20. Next week, hopefully. Also, Barrett's been doing pretty damn well for himself lately. If there's another show before End Game 8 I think Bison v. Barrett would be a pretty good Casual Contenders match. |
