I thought Baz was 3-1 (Beat Santa, lost to Jesus, beat Gabe, beat Kefka). | ||||

Not to mention his tag team loss when him and Little Mac fought Zangief and Ganondorf. Bazza has had....a varied career, to say the least. |

I'VE ALREADY SEEN IT AND I DON'T WANT TO KNOW There weren't that many rankings matches (only 5 across both tables), but goddamn there was a big impact. I guess it was a great opportunity to ruin everything before Money in THE BAAAANK. Y'know, ladder matches are kinda different in the rankings, in that nobody actually "loses" (i.e. gets a 0,) so no matter what happens to Air Man next week, he's still gonna have a fuckhuge rating. Gary Oak has won more matches in the past few weeks than he has in the rest of his career. Congrats. 9/12/2014 |

The bottom end of the table is ridiculously hard to escape, especially for Gary. Edited by CommanderVid, Dec 10 2014, 11:46 AM.

Order! Order in the court!

To be fair, Bison's amongst company of Illidan, the Heavy, and Snake, who we all know aren't shabby midcarders as they appear to be in the power rankings The rank down isn't as bad in that context. Although it does bother me that he's now below Sabin who he beat, but if he faces another higher ranked wrestler and wins, he should fare better. Edited by TheWorst, Dec 10 2014, 02:04 PM.

Well, there is NO denying Gary is better than before. He won pretty handily against poor Bison. So either Gary is WAY better, or Bison is more of a wildcard than I thought. At the very least, this loss will protect anyone else who loses to Gary from facing the fate of Luigi. If anyone wants to try and claim that Bison is a jobber, they'll have a pretty hard time backing that up. |

The midcard is getting to the point that it's packed up like a can of sardines. Any fight that involves a wrestler there will see a major shift in their rankings, for better or worse. This chart will help illustrate this point: ![]() As you can see, the top and the bottom are very, very skewed right now, to the point where it'd be difficult to get out of either far end (saving the fact that title matches always carry more weight). But the closer you get to the middle, the more level the distribution becomes. It's especially flat at the center, making big movement in that area a lot more likely, but even near the upper-and-lower mid there's a lot of room for big movement. Expect anyone in that region who's having a match in the future to see a big change. What's interesting here is that the near-top region is pretty flat too. There's a lot of room for motion right below the top-card mountain (appropriately guarded by Ganondorf at the moment). |

Every time I think I've seen it all, something happens to blow it out of the water. One rank more in half the matches. The lesson I've learned from this is that six-man ladder matches are crazy as hell, and these results are all over the place because of it. Scorpion's now got a good lead in 1st, and he might start approaching the 1900 barrier soon. Probably not though, he'd need a ridiculous run to come close. 16/12/2014 |
