i have another possible explanation: perhaps Jensen is not suited to Undertaker's moveset in terms of how the game works. Undertaker's moveset was designed to be used by Undertaker, who is 6'10 and fits into the game's definition of "Super Heavyweight". For those that aren't aware, the game places wrestlers into four weight categories: Cruiserweight, Light Heavyweight, Heavyweight, and Super Heavyweight. The game limits how high certain attributes can be for a CAW based on their weight class - lighter weights are faster and more agile, heavier weights are stronger and more durable. Just as in real life, the default wrestlers have movesets that reflect their strengths and weaknesses - heavier wrestlers use primarily big slams, lighter wrestlers employ more technical offenses and are more likely to perform dives and springboard maneuvers. Now let's say you gave a really small wrestler Big Show's moveset, or gave a really big wrestler Rey Mysterio's moveset - it would make sense if they couldn't do it as effectively as a wrestler closer to their sizes, wouldn't it? My theory - and it is only a theory, and it would require some pretty rigorous testing which would really be a big waste of time - is that Jensen's use of Undertaker's moveset is not as effective because he is too light. I can say with a good deal of certainty that Jensen was at most a Heavyweight in WWE '13, because the actual size of a CAW affected their weight class in that game. In 2k14, that restriction is gone - you can categorize a 7'0 monster as a Cruiserweight if you so please - but it wouldn't make much sense to categorize Jensen as a Super Heavyweight (I am not certain of this at all, so I could be wrong). And anyway, as has been noted throughout the thread, Jensen's problems extend well back into the '13 days. It is worth noting that Jensen's path is also a bit similar to that taken by another VGCW wrestler - JonTron, who had the moveset of another Super Heavyweight, Mark Henry. |

Remember last year when we were excited for this?
|
I've just been running a match and it's happened again, twice. But the AI doesn't use the D-Throw to keep the opponent away from the ropes, it uses the D-Throw to land the opponent on a weapon when one is lying nearby. |

Y BCZ might have a point, I doubt Jensen has the stats that Taker does (Hell, he has like a 95 total), so his striking and grapples probably aren't as strong as they're originally intended to when used by Taker. After all, The Undertaker is the best pure striker in the WWE

Some of those numbers are pretty big Others are getting smaller How do you calculate multi-mans? Is it different for elimination vs first pin? |

For triple threats it's pretty straight forward, winner wins, whoever gets pinned loses and the other guy draws. For 4 and 6 man stuff, it's a combination between pins and elimination order. Considering how everything else is calculated, exactly how each performance is weighed against the others is pretty subjective. Trust me, though, I never sway the result depending on who I like/dislike, biased as I am. |

And Bowser and the AVGN continue their steady rise to be the first Wrestler to top a current-standing champion on the Power Rankings chart, while said current-standing champ proves he is by no means suffering from ring rust. Too bad for Pyro and Heavy that their match last night was Tag Team. Heavy, for this reason, doesn't get to go on the main Power Ranking list yet, and Pyro could really have used the point boost from that decisive win. Edited by Introbulus, Dec 25 2013, 08:48 AM.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pyro sticks to the tag team division, now that he's got his old Co-Op Championship team back and better than before. It's not like he was going anywhere in singles. Is there anywhere we can see the past rankings? They're easily found in the Female Division, since there's a new post every show, but that's not the case here. EDIT: Figured out the answer to my own question! In case anyone else was curious, they can be found on the wiki, in the Power Rankings edit history. Edited by SAShieldhill, Jan 5 2014, 11:36 PM.

So that explains why some wrestlers have a good number of draws...I was starting to wonder about that. |

VGCW Co-Op Rankings 12/17/13 Edition
Flawless Victory, Now Do It Again In a very nice surprise, the special Christmas episode of VGCW featured the debut of a frequently-requested wrestler - the Heavy, who partnered up with the Pyro against the Dragons. I have to admit I had a bit of a mark-out moment when Heavy came out, and then the perfect tag team name appeared on screen: Team Fortress 2. TF2 made a strong debut, but more than that, it was entertaining as shit. I look forward to seeing the Heavy's ridiculous arms clip many, many times in the future. TF2 didn't do a lot of tagging in the match, but they didn't really need to, as Heavy seemed to handle taking on a lot of damage while dishing even more out on the Lee brothers, and that was enough for the Pyro to eventually pick up the pin after incinerating Jimmy's balls with a devastating testicular claw. The Dragons have had little success getting anything in the wins column so far despite hanging in tough in both their matches, and they fall to the bottom of the power rankings. On the other hand, if Team Fortress 2 can follow up on their initial success, then the Pyro may get his chance to have revenge on GameCenter FU the team that retired his first partner over a year ago. |
