D-D-D-D-DOUBLE POSTING So everything lines up so that whoever wins the Tag Title match is gonna shoot up and get real high. Which means that the champs will actually be Rank 1 again, which is always appreciated. The +s and -s are as accurate as I can be with a new team and an old team replacing a current team. Also, I decided just to give the winners some green, for aesthetic purposes, as usual. 14/4/2015 |

Maaaan, all that work and The Practice DROP a place? Oh well, it's surely all part of the #MASTERPLAN. And holy shit, Gerudo Skies return with a record of 9-3...*gulp* |

Man, it's weird to think the Dragons have been in Eighteen matches.

The Dragons have been as many matches as the Saiyans, and almost as many as Warioware. Both teams have been around since SEASON ONE, the Saiyans since the first ever tag team tourney. I mean yeah, The Saiyans have taken fairly long breaks from each other with Nappa trading partners multiple times and Vegeta being dead in Seasons 4-5, and Warioware had season 8 off. But still, if they don't win the titles, maaaaybe it's time for the two of them to step out of the spotlight for a bit and let some other teams shine?

Considering that The Dragons are Tag only mostly, they can have a good enough excuse to have as many matches as they do. But I will say that they need a moment away from matches despite that being the only thing they CAN do. Honestly, they shouldn't be in Singles. They're basically the same character and their movesets(Although they're fun to some), are more or less the same; which is fine and it works but not for Singles competition. Which is why a Tag Team like Toejam and Earl could be in Singles because they're so different and both bring something different to the table rather than the same thing, but doubled(Mad Gear wasn't the most over Tag Team over in WVGCW land when Roxy fought Chie). But, this is the Power Rankings thread and it's about fake numbers that don't really mean a whole lot and are there mostly for funsies. So I'll just say that Dragons should likely not be Wrestling as much if they lose but they're alright. And looking at the Rankings reminded me that Mystical Ninjas existed. The Ninjas are pretty great just because they're the most baffling tag team in the league. Goemon's good, Ebisumaru's good...and putting them together works like orange juice and toothpaste most of the time.

The Ninjas are a good team to chuck out whenever a team could use a boost because they're not weak enough that you can just steamroll over them, but they're not strong enough to be a major roadblock for any of the other teams. They're like a more competent Warioware, just not as fun to watch in the ring.

Whelp, time to talk results! Vs The HeavyFalcon's likely to drop at least one place even though he's already near the bottom, due to Eggman's win over Ezio. Heavy probably won't get a huge boost from beating the beleaguered Captain, but Drac's loss, coupled with the midcard being packed tight where he is, might see him rise up to meet his leader in the Gang of Bullies. Ezio Vs Ouch, a bad break for Ezio. Especially with things so tightly packed below him, and Travis scoring a huge win tonight too. Eggman, on the other hand, still has a long way to climb - his victory over Ezio, coupled with a loss by WhoBaz, means he's climbing out from the bottom of the barrel, but it's still a long climb up for him. But hey, it could be worse... Zubaz vs Speaking of it could be worse, Mr. Star Road has to be feeling a lot less shiny after losing to the bottom-ranked wrestler in the league right now. For a man who went through a whole tournament of fighters to get here, he hasn't had much luck in the actual ring. Waluigi, on the other hand, desperately needed this win. He might even escape the bottom of the chart at last. Mystical Ninjas Vs Sonic ![]() Not entirely an unexpected result, but an exciting match all the same. Sonic will get a nice boost from this win, though they won't be able to pierce Gerudo Skies. Likewise, while the Mystic Ninjas might get closer to the Birds of Prey, they're not likely to swap places, and even less likely to be in danger of getting displaced by Wario Ware Inc. Dracula vs Travis Touchdown It's too bad for Travis that he didn't have this fight sooner. Dracula just came off of a big loss that landed him in the midcard, and it already looks like he's going to drop further before rising from his grave again. Travis meanwhile evens out his fight record (2-2-2) and will still probably see a nice Rank Up from this win. vs Dante vs vs I never know how to predict multi-man matches like this. Even when a wrestler is eliminated second, they can still come out on top if they eliminate someone significant, or are up against stronger foes. One thing for certain though, is that our resident fighting GM won't like the results. Nor will Barret Wallace, who after fighting tooth and nail still got eliminated second, and was the second-seeded from the top. Snake will probably manage to get a boost for an impressive amount of effort....but the real story here is that Dante, the man who gets first crack at Scorpion, is looking stronger than ever, just when he needs it the most. Is this a sign of things to come? Or will he, like many before him, choke when his might is finally tested? |

DANTE UPDATE: Still undefeated. Jesus Christ. One thing the fourway accomplished was that the distribution of power bewtween the four evened out a bit, with Snake making it far enough to bounce right back into the Top 10 after losing to Dante before, while Gary is now the lowest ranked of the participants for Challenge Tower. Meanwhile, Travis avoids getting completely buried under the weight of the points above him and crawls back up to a respectable midcard position, while Dracula does the exact opposite. The bottom section of the table saw a lot of action this week, so some shifting and whatever of the order of the last few took place, with Wily reclaiming the bottom spot. Tag table is what it is, didn't expect much to change after last week. 21/4/2015 |

It's always been a self-correcting problem so it's fine that all champions, even Casual ones, should rank highly. Almost every Casual champion's rating stabilized, so to speak, after their reign, so it's not like we have tons of undeserving competitors walking around with unearned counterfeit Casual points. As hot of a streak as Dante is on, and by God is he on a hot streak, he's not a champion. Spoiler: click to toggle lol @ the Bullies all being within twenty points of each other. Thick as thieves.
