Barret needs a match ASAP, but given that gold won't be involved, he'll just win and nestle himself further in the top 10.

Let's make a fun little list that I like to call:

People Who Need A Match Badly

These are wrestlers who badly need a match, whether it's to get out of the bottom of the barrel, to shake them up from their entrenched position in the Power Ranking chart, or just because they haven't fought in awhile and we need to see what they're capable of.

[1] - Captain Falcon

The Cap has suffered a serious long string of not being able to put a match together and win. We KNOW he's capable of more than this, but because we know it, he still gets carded near the middle and towards the top, and that's...made things difficult for the former Captain of the Midcard. He needs a match, and moreover, he needs one that he can solidly win.

[2] - Adam Jensen

Dude, you used to be a VGCW Champion, and now you're just a breath away from being in the bottom of the barrel. I know you just started a neat new tag team with Snake, but man, you could use a match.

[3] - Gary Oak

Can't remember the last time our GM had a match. Either my memory is foggy, or he's been hiding behind his muscle more than usual lately. Either way, I really missed Gary from the Royal Rumble, and I'd love to see him back in the ring.

[4] - Travis Touchdown

Speaking of people I barely feel we know, the #1 ranked assassin could use a match to solidify his standing under new TOH-controlled rules. And generally, we could stand to see a little more of him in the ring, since he usually does a pretty good job of making or breaking other wrestlers, even when he's not going to be the Numbah Ooooooone.

[5] - Ganondorf

Has it been long enough? I think it's been long enough. I think it's been more than long enough.

I kind of prefer if Gary didn't wrestle as much, as much as I love him. He's a GM, he shouldn't be fighting unless he absolutely has to or he stands to benefit from it.

Gary went against Goemon 2-3 shows ago, it was a good match, Goemon made a solid runback. But it would be fun seeing in some random little multi-man contests, I agree. Maybe not singles, though. We know what happened last time we had a GM as champ.

It's going to happen. There's not a thing any of us can do about it, either.

1. Check the plot, he's on sabbatical for a bit
2. Yeah, sure, but I wasn't going to book him RIGHT after his emotional deal with a lot of plot attention. Needed a breather of at least one episode.
3. Think about what happened after his last match. He's been in the GM's office in every appearance since.
4. He was in the triple threat tables match in episode 6 that won MotN. Not seeing the "badly" here...
5. Episode 5 wasn't that long ago...

Oh crap. :O I did not expect you to read this. ._.

1. I toootally forgot that and should've known better.
2. Fair.
3. Also fair, and very Gary Oak.
4. Honestly with the way HWG completely stole that match and made that night, I forgot Travis was involved. Heck, his reaction to Heavy stealing the Table Break was what made the match for me.
5. Wow I...just did not remember that at all.

And this is why I do not usually make long forum posts, and should seriously do some homework before making these broad statements.

I'll...I'll just be in the corner waiting for the next night.

:botch:

People are complaining about Barret being at the top of the card. Let's feed him to Ganondorf. Dorf's 22, so far enough down to knock Barret down if he wins, and Barret will legitimately look like he deserves his top 10 spot if he wins.

Well we shouldn't just book a match entirely based on the rank. I don't think anyone's legitimately angry Barret is there, because ultimately these tables don't affect the actual show.

True-ish. But if you're gonna book Barret, where do you book him? Like, do you book him as though he's mid-card or top card?

EDIT: I think a lot of the current distaste for him is people don't know what to think about him.

The greatest prank the devil ever pulled was giving Barret a permanent top 10 spot in the power rankings.
